Job description
As an AI Engineer, you'll be a vital part of our team, working together to build athena, the first AI GTM assistant for creative go-to-market teams. athena builds an always-up-to-date product database from boards, files, emails, and chats, and empowers creative teams to focus on what they love - product.
You’ll join our ambitious team as one of the first hires, working directly with the founders. Expect to navigate a wide range of challenges including developing a scalable LLM framework, fine-tuning and personalising prompt engineering, orchestrating multiple AI agents, and implementing advanced RAG systems.
But that’s not all: at this stage, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape not only our platform, but also the culture, strategy, and direction of athena studio. We are uniquely positioned to accelerate over the next 6-12 months, with multiple projects ongoing and kicking off with global enterprise customers.
If you're ready to embark on an exciting journey from the early days and make a significant impact in a growing team with global ambitions, athena studio is the place for you!
What you'll be doing
A non-exhaustive list of features we could use your help with:
- Advancing best practices and industry-leading techniques to apply LLMs in solving the day-to-day challenges of creative product development teams
- Fine-tuning and optimising prompting strategies (incl. prompt-chaining) to improve accuracy and contextual relevance in complex workflows
- Designing and improving our data parsing agents that transform unstructured data inputs (files, boards, conversations) into a structured product database that powers all downstream use cases
- Developing real-life, valuable workflows together with customers to turn our structured product database into measurable value the client teams in their day-to-day
- Building out an MLOps and ML Observability suite to ensure model outputs consistently meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and reliability.
You’ll report directly to our co-founder & CTO, and work together with the rest of the company (and customers) in detailing the requirements of features and make trade-offs together in order to maximise value while minimising complexity.
Who we are looking for
- You’re passionate about AI and LLMs, with at least 4 years of professional experience and a strong drive to become an expert in the field
- You’ve worked on a software product in a technical role (e.g. software engineer, full-stack engineer) and know what it takes to ship
- You’re comfortable with our stack: Typescript, React, Node.js, Postgres
- Personal growth matters to you, and you’re motivated to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- You’re fluent in English - we work with teams across Europe and the US
- Ability to work in an in person setup OR a hybrid setup with regular time spent on-site in our office in Luxembourg
What you can expect
- Impact: Join an early-stage rocket ship where your work directly shapes our success. We’re moving fast, with global clients already on board - every line of code and every idea you bring will have an immediate, visible impact
- Growth: Be part of an early-stage start-up with traction and ready to accelerate: you’ll learn more in months than most do in years, and grow your career as we expand globally
- Culture: Work in a high-paced, small and fun team directly with the founders - we thrive on innovation, creativity, and a healthy dose of fun!
- Ecosystem: you’ll plug into Luxembourg’s fast-growing tech ecosystem and beyond - from day 1, we’ve built a global network, so you’ll join us on trips across Europe and the USA to connect with our partners, customers, and community
Next to the above very awesome perks, we offer a competitive salary with an attractive equity component: we want you to help shape athena studio and share directly in the upside we create together.
Sounds like you? We’d love to hear from you - apply now and let’s build the future of creative product development together.
